KEY INGREDIENTS

Kasni

Sometimes, drinking and partying is what the heart needs, but the liver doesn’t get the memo. At times like this, it’s Kasni to the rescue. A liver-strengthener used in the management of serious liver ailments, Kasni in ARMR boosts the functioning of the liver so it can excrete all that excess alcohol out of your system. Next morning, clean slate!

Ashwagandha

Outlast the DJ whose music isn’t stopping, and whose beat isn’t dropping with Ashwagandha. Known as the Indian Ginseng, it is a great energy and vitality-enhancer, fantastic stressbuster and a rejuvenative marvel. It’s your best friend at the party. Even more than that guy who’s saying so, while drooling on your shoulder.

Aloe Vera

Say ‘Allo’ to Aloe Vera, even if you just did while shampooing your hair. It’s a powerful antioxidant known to the many party animals across the world – The Romans, the Greeks, the Chinese, and of course, us, Indians. While used extensively as a medicine and a healing agent, Aloe Vera’s Hepato-protective powers are also vera, vera good for your alcohol-loving liver – improving its function so you can party without compunction.

Ginger

If you’re shrugging indifferently at Ginger, maybe you’ll give it the respect it deserves when you hear its official name – Zingiber Officinale. A treasure trove of valuable phytonutrients, Ginger has been used for centuries in Ayurvedic and Tibetan systems of medicine, and is irreplaceable in the management of headaches, dizziness, nausea and vomiting. Ring a bell?

Giloy

Ok, we admit it’s difficult to take something named like an Irishman or a Scotsman seriously, but he’s a good lad to have on your side. With strong anti-oxidant properties, Giloy protects the Hepatic cells of your liver from toxic damages resulting from the ingestion of alcohol. Any surprise the Irish and the Scots handle their alcohol so well?

Punarnava

The clue to the job it does lies in its name – Punarnava. Punar – again. Nava – new. New again. Don’t you just love names like these! This herb is another potent anti-oxidant that possesses preventive and protective properties and helps maintain cell survival, cellular interaction and the cell membrane architecture. Rejuvenation right at the cellular level. This is where you say ‘Epic Shit’!

Pittapapada & Kamalphul

Another liver-function enhancer, Pittapapada helps regulate the ‘pitta’ (Bile) secreted by the liver, helping your body process excessive amounts of alcohol, thus reducing the build-up of toxins in your system, thus reducing the severity of your hangover, the next morning. All of this, while the replete-with-powerful-anti-oxidants Kamalphul works hard to protect the liver.

Amla

Amla is to health as Tiesto is to DJs. Synonymous! A true-blue super-food, it is a veritable powerhouse filled to the hilt with anti-oxidants and Vitamin C. Imagine a giant disco ball but filled with the power of a thousand suns, and you might get a fair idea of what Amla is. To our trained eyes, of course.

Kutki & Bhuiamlaki

Kutki is another efficacious antioxidant, well-known for its ability to inhibit the generation of (hold your breath!) oxygen anions and to scavenge free radicals. It also reduces the increased levels of lipid peroxidation products in the liver. Bhiumlaki, on the other hand, inhibits the lipid peroxidation and the reactive oxygen species. We recommend you trust us on this one, because the only other way to get this knowledge is to meditate in a forest for a hundred years.

Bhringraj

This herb epitomizes the phrase ‘speak softly, but carry a big stick’. Bhringraj is a herbaceous plant that is found as a common weed throughout India, but is an active ingredient in many herbal formulations prescribed for liver ailments, because of its effects on liver cell regeneration. So, among all the other things to worry about, such as your cellphone, at least your cells aren’t one of them.

Mulethi

Mulethi is well-known for its anti-inflammatory properties, and is a welcome addition to ARMR for its ability to protect the liver. It has many other properties, such as its ability to combat digestive issues (known to happen after a big night partying), boost your immunity (from bad music, for example) and a memory enhancer (Think ‘Dude, where’s my car?’). All in all, a solid must-have.

Green Tea

An India and China native, Green tea has been staple Oriental fare for centuries and is quite possibly the real reason why they are seeing their people live longer, healthier lives. Of course, don’t quote us on this. But Green tea is full of polyphenols that are widely considered the most potent antioxidant known to man. So, who are we to argue? We simply put some into ARMR, and really hope you live longer, and party harder.

Saunf

The soft-spoken, reticent Saunf just said, ‘Ditto’.
